Teacher Gifts
I am sharing with you my teacher gift for this year. For my daughter's kindergarten class, we had done a joint gift card as the big gift, so I just wanted to give them a little something to thank them for all their work. I feel like teachers must have a backlog of a gazillion note pads and hand towels, so I wanted to get them something that was useful and use-up-able. My daughter and I made them herb gardens. We went to the gardening store, bought a 7" pot (I would actually recommend getting a 6" so the herbs can fit a little tighter) and filled it with the six herbs we use the most: parsley, thyme, sage, basil, mint and rosemary. My daughters helped me plant the pots and they had so much fun doing it. I then had my daughter draw the cards, tied a ribbon around each pot and she was so proud to hand them out to her teachers!
