Girls' Blouses to Dress Them Up

As my girls get older, I find that tees work for most days. There are those times though when we have somewhere to go that doesn't require dressy but it would be nice to throw on a blouse with the cords. I have rounded up six that I think are fail-safe and look as good with pants as they do with skirts.

My 7-year-old in her Olive Juice Stella Blouse—she asks to wear it! I love how she wears it with her white Converse sneakers for school or her favorite brown boots for a family dinner out.

Johnnie-O Shirts for Kids

Johnnie-O Kid's "Wedge" Collar Pique Polo $36.

"West Coast preppy" is how Johnnie-O captures its brand, which is spot on in my opinion.  I love the Johnnie-O Kids Polos and have seen these shirts quite a bit recently.  A classic polo, but with a Johnnie-O surfboard logo that makes it a little more fun (or, some would say stylish).  Johnnie-O also offers a special "wedge" collared polo with a much smaller, less "stuffy" collar.  This very comfy polo is a great addition to a boys wardrobe (and girls, too).
